Subject: Riscstation 7500 computers
We're going to have a play with the Riststation R7500 computer, including a look at its sound sampling capability. These machines are not as commonplace as Risc PCs, so just to make sure that you don't miss your opportunity to get up close and personal with them - we're actually going to have two of these at the meeting! The machines have recently benefitted from a fresh install of original software after the damaged install CD data was finally recovered.

Subject: Hands on night with AppBasic
This month we're trying something with a bit of a difference... We're hoping to have a small number of machines all with AppBasic and working in small groups with lots of help on hand, will try to create a simple program running in the WIMP to demonstrate how easy it is to create multi-tasking WIMP programs using AppBasic.
We're going to take a step by step approach to a very simple task and this is something which everyone should be able to do with a little assistance. Even if you've written a computer program before, don't be afraid, come and have a go at some basic (BASIC) programming.
